Charles DILLON, son of Jonathan and Permelia Dillon was born near Ridgefarm, Ill., Sept 18, 1854, died May 30, 1913 aged 58 Years 7 Months 11 Days. He was married to Almaretta Embree Feb 19, 1882. To this union were born 4 children, 3 of which survive. For the past 4 weeks he has been a great suffer but he has borne it patiently until death relieved him of his suffering. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and 3 sons; Henderson Dillon of Humrick, Ill; Rufus and Logan Dillon. Three grandchildren and four sisters: Emily Pugh of RIdgefarm and Jane Oheron, Sallie Hayworth, Lucy Canaday of Georgetown, Ill, one brother, Lewis Dillon of Cayuga, ind; and two half-brothers, Albert Henderson of Ridgefarm and Barcley Dillon of Newburg, Ore. His father and mother, three sisters and one brother have preceded him in death. He spent the great part of his life in Yankee Point, until six years ago when they moved on a farm near Kingman. He was a charter member of the Modern Woodmen of Humrick, Ill; later moving his membership to Kingman Camp No. 3628. Funeral services were held at Yankee Point, near Georgetown by the Rev. Mr. Campbell of that vicinity on Sunday June __ (rest unreadable).
